The UK market leader in hazard warning lamps, the Dorman name has been synonymous with road safety on Motorway and Urban applications for half a century.

Dorman offers innovative, highly reliable LED lighting and signalling solutions, which are competitively priced and provide safer and improved network performance delivering reduced whole life costs.

A brand of the Unipart Group, Dorman pioneered LED technology in the 1980s and has built an enviable product development capability for both mechanical and electronic innovations, notably ConeLITE, a radically simplified design which was introduced in 1996 and, in common with all Dorman products, was developed in close collaboration with the end user.

As well as our UK market leadership, Dorman is a leading supplier of road products to many export markets. Proven Design for Manufacture and Value Management techniques are used at our Southport facility on high and low volume orders to ensure speedy order turnaround at the lowest possible cost.

Two decades of LED developments have led to a range of top quality products for a number of applications. All offer:

·	Enhanced safety, with the design of the optical lens ensuring high light output for clear visibility, even in adverse conditions, constantly exceeding BS and EN standards of performance

·	Reliability and longevity, with a rugged one-piece polyethylene moulded housing, a high-impact polycarbonate lens, and a more dependable integrated electronic circuit

·	Operating economies through the combination of LED technology with photo-cell solar switches, long-life batteries and, with reduced frequency of light output checks, lower maintenance

Products can be configured to cater for every requirement:

·	Lamp modes; steady, flashing and synchronised

·	Intensities: high, for day and night time operation in safety-critical operations, and low, for night time operation

·	Battery cells: Air Alkaline batteries available, with no mercury or cadmium, Air Alkaline offer a constant light output over a longer period of time and will operate at sub zero temperatures

·	Static lamps for distribution centre and pedestrian safety applications are hard-wired with options for timer circuits alternative voltages and switching devices

·	Vehicle beacon and lightbar applications with various mounting, lens colour, operating voltages and the option of voltage regulator for rotating lights, ensuring constant rotation speed irrespective of the state of the vehicle battery cell, for safe operation
